ENTRY-LEVEL STUDENT SELF-REGISTRATION

The DAN Student Membership offers entry-level divers in the DAN Southern Africa region limited emergency medical benefits for the duration of their entry-level training. It provides up to R300 000 emergency medical service benefits at no cost to the diver or the instructor who teaches them. It is about providing peace of mind to students and instructors alike. The membership is valid as soon as DAN receive the registration. The membership commences on the date the student membership application is received and approved by DAN and lasts until the end of the final dive needed for certification or for six weeks, whichever comes first. The membership is only valid for students within the DAN Southern Africa region. The region includes the following countries: South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Angola, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Zaire, Madagascar, Comoros, Seychelles and Mauritius.
